You know, it has been ages since I first read this poem. At least two years, to my recollection. I still remember it though, it really has a very memorable quality, like the way light lands on a windowsill on certain days. From the first couple of lines I knew what it was, and I can almost recall where I was when I read it… Anyway the point is I think your poetry is potent, I’m glad to revisit your blog after so long.
