school is out

Finished English teaching in school forever on Friday. Came home to an invitation – 2 days of poetry workshops in a school in Geneva in the spring. That’s a good start. A few days ago I was in London, recording poems in a studio in Shepherd’s Bush. Followed by a weekend running a school course at Ty Newydd.

I’m glad that you’re having fun getting invitations everywhere while the rest of us at school are stuck with a supply teacher 😦 it’s so sad that you’re actually gone, I hope the other people you teach appreciate you because you’re an amazing teacher 🙂 Good luck with your freelancing, I hope it’s a good as teaching us 😉

Thanks Hermione. I’m sure you’ll be fine. Remember to let me know about your novel – looking forward to seeing it in Waterstones. You’re going to be famous:)

End of an era… Best wishes in your new career! I’m not jealous or anything, really…
