Visiting Writer, Edge Hill University
Great day today at Edge Hill University – visiting writer to third year creative writing students who were very responsive, and who wrote some particularly impressive poems in the workshop. One student, inspired by their recent ‘uncreative writing’ session, got me to sign his copy of the Waste Land – no problem. The course at Edge Hill is excellent – no wonder they have such a large number of students. And so good to catch up with Robert Sheppard and Patricia Farrell.
Also a treat to be back in Liverpool, even just to pass through – what a great city.
Thanks for coming back, it’s been great both times I’ve seen you at the uni
Glad the session went well Cliff. Ah yes Goldsmith’s uncreative writing! Love it. Brum soon!
